In the summer of 2011, the foundation worked together with seven international guest artists on a one-week project in Tsarino and Chorbadzhiysko titled We Are Landscape Painters. The focus of this project was to engage with the place of art in relation to its context, surroundings and public. It resulted in a contemporary art event in the cultural center of Chorbadzhiysko called TSARINO 2011, referring to the village that some of the Chorbadzhiyskians once used to inhabit, but was now being used by international artists. It drew well over a hundred visitors, mostly from the local community.
